In 1919 George Willmott formed Willmotts Transport with an ex-military vehicle after the First World War, using his Army Gratuity.

The Limited Company was formed in 1963.

The whole Company moved from the city of Wells to its present site at Waterlip in 1981.

The adjacent site was acquired in 2002, virtually doubling the size of the premises.

Early in 2004, the Willmott family made the difficult decision to dispose of the transport section of the buisiness and concentrate on Warehousing and associated activities.

Willmotts Business Park was now a reality .......
